Membership FAQ’s

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH MEMBERSHIP IS RIGHT FOR ME?

Review our Membership Categories page for full details about different membership levels available to you.

CAN I JOIN THE AER EVEN THOUGH I AM NOT CURRENTLY WORKING IN THE FIELD?

Yes! While most of our members are actively employed in the field, we welcome individuals from assorted backgrounds. You may want to consider joining at the Associate level.

HOW DO I LOGIN TO THE MEMBERSHIP SECTION OF THE WEBSITE?

In order to log in to the AER members-only pages and to view your profile, organizational documents, access the Journal, and more, please click on the link top right of each page called Login. Enter your Username and then type in your password. If you do not recall your password, click on the link stating “Can’t access your account” under the login fields. You will have the option to enter either your username or your email address. If you select the email option, please be sure to use the email address that we have in our system for you.
A link will be emailed to you shortly at the address we have on file for your account.

Please contact memberservices@aerbvi.org if you do not receive an email to reset your password.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY ADDRESS OR CONTACT INFORMATION?

After logging into your AER profile (see above), you will be brought to your User Account page. From there, you can update your address and/or contact information from the “Account Activities” tab. To the right of your current address information, click on the blue edit icon to update your information. Remember to save your changes before exiting.

WHEN DOES MY MEMBERSHIP EXPIRE?

You can verify your annual membership period by logging in to your User Account and viewing your membership information.
AER provides our members with a grace period of two months. For example, if your membership expires in January, your active membership will not be dropped until March. However, we encourage you to renew early to avoid any loss of member benefits.
