MISSION
The Division promotes development, knowledge and use of information services, technology devices and services for blind and visually impaired persons, regardless of age or phase of life.
To this end, the Division strengthens and enriches the professional expertise of its members and other professionals. It fosters research, technical evaluation, publication and dissemination of information.
In industry, we work with developers and manufacturers to guide technology developments, encourage professional standards development, and share information about professional training and opportunities for growth.
