Teacher of the Visually Impaired – Early Intervention $95 per hour

As a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) you will play an important role in providing high-quality services and support to infants, toddlers, and their families. • Assist families in implementing/carrying through goals and strategies to help children ages birth – 3 years of age with blindness/visual impairment and/or additional disabilities develop to their fullest potential.
• Provide support and guidance to the family.
• Services are provided in the home.
• Must have your own transportation and willing to work in the following counties: Hudson, Union, Essex, Bergen, Passaic, Sussex, and Morris county.

Qualifications:

• New Jersey Department of Education Certification – Teacher of the Visually Impaired (Required)
• Bachelors – Special Education
• Must have a minimum of one year experience as a certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired.
