This is an exceptional opportunity for a TVI, CVRT, Assistive Technology Instructor, or anyone with expertise in instructional content creation to work remotely on a flexible schedule, while making a meaningful impact by helping others acquire valuable assistive technology skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create clear, detailed, edited and publication-ready step-by-step instructional content for using JAWS, ZoomText, Fusion, and NVDA in combination with Microsoft Office 365/2021/2024. This includes writing comprehensive instructions, providing accurate screen descriptions, and embedding cropped screenshots with appropriate Alt text to enhance accessibility and ensure a rich teaching and learning experience.
• Participate in weekly progress meetings or submit regular progress reports to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Work independently while consistently meeting deadlines.
• Proactively communicate any potential issues or concerns to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office 365/2021/2024 and how it integrates with the listed assistive technology tools.
• Extensive experience and expertise in using, teaching, and developing instructional content for JAWS, ZoomText, Fusion, and NVDA, with a strong emphasis on creating effective training materials, in all of those areas, for teachers who support users with vision impairments.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to break down processes into easy-to-follow instructions.
• Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
