Digital Apex is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Contracted Assistive Technology Video Content Creator to join our team. This role will support the development of engaging video-based training materials to enhance our comprehensive TrainingWare Assistive Technology Training Management content and System.

We are seeking individuals with experience and expertise in Assistive Technology instruction. This is a remote, flexible-schedule contract position, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact by helping others gain independence through assistive technology skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Create publish-ready, step-by-step demonstration videos based on our existing written content for using JAWS, ZoomText, Fusion, and NVDA with Microsoft Office 365/2021/2024.
• Edit and prepare videos for publication, upload them to an online storage system, and link them to written content in our web-based teaching management system.
• Participate in weekly progress meetings or submit regular progress reports to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Work independently while meeting deadlines consistently.
• Proactively communicate potential challenges to support smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365/2021/2024 and experience integrating it with JAWS, ZoomText, Fusion and NVDA.
• Demonstrated ability to create and edit instructional videos, with a strong emphasis on converting written content into clear, effective demonstrations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a remote work environment.
