Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy professional to create instructional videos demonstrating how to perform computer tasks using assistive technology programs within Windows and Google platforms. This is a 1099 contract position with pay commensurate with experience. The specialist will work from a written script and add limited ad-lib commentary to ensure the content is clear, engaging, and accessible. Videos will be recorded using Zoom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop video tutorials based on provided scripts demonstrating the use of assistive technology tools with Windows and Google applications.
- Incorporate limited ad-lib explanations to enhance clarity and user engagement.
- Use Zoom to capture screen recordings and voice narration.
- Edit and finalize videos to meet quality and accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with content creators and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain an organized library of instructional videos.
- Stay current on assistive technology tools and software updates.
- Meet project deadlines consistently to ensure timely delivery of high-quality instructional videos.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Google platforms.
- Experience or familiarity with the assistive technology programs listed above.
- Experience in providing training the use of assistive technology preferred.
- Proficient in using Zoom for video recording.
- Ability to follow scripts while confidently adding clear, natural ad-lib commentary.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Basic video editing skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accessibility and clarity.
